setanta’s coverage of the Blue square premier was brilliant its a pity sky didnt carry it on after setanta went tits up, come on sky theres more to life than just the premiership, There’s some great football out there that fans want to see.
Sky sports has great channels but they really are boardering on a monopoly and making it extremely hard for other channels showing the english premier leugue, for example ESPN is going from 46 matches for 2009 season and dropping to 23 in the 2010. Setanta sport is the only channel that made sky see brown.
for example the access all areas coverage of the Conference

I am not here to argue for Rupert Murdoch and his cronies but Sky built the Premiership. If you are talking about pioneering technology, what about Sky’s coverage of the Champions League, the goal alert system and the choice of 8 live games through the red button on Weds? They were the first to bring in the choice of diffrent camera angles, they have the best commentators and their HD is awesome though we shouldn’t have to be extra for it as Sky customers.
thats bollocks, talk to anyone in TV, and some of the thing setanta did on their football coverage was pioneering and had never been done before, Sky are now doing many of these things now.
could have got a better leagu for that price
