Governor Walker can’t give in. He already collected his bribes and probably spent the money. So he owes the Koch brothers to stay firm. He’s a man of honor, you know?
@theoriginalKland I ran into a fireman at Chumash casino I told him I made 30K, he laughed at be and said I could not survive on 30K I make 200k as a firefighter. I have nothing against teachers, I have everything against unions and overpaying teachers.
@pirucreek Yeah I think you’re just bullshitting because when the public records come out on what public workers get paid in my city firefighters and teachers aren’t making 200K. Teachers in these areas aren’t getting paid more than 100k, the average pay is 50k, hardly considered “overpaying”.

I really hate what this governor stand for but think if the president had half that commitment to fight for his promises and ideas instead of always crumble on every subject.The people in The White House should be ashamed of themselves for not backing up the protesters.

This sounded like he also had a business where he sold stuff to the fire department. Also, 80,000 have to live homeless in Los Angeles county, where they could be removing brush, all so firefighters can live like kings.

Many of those who want teachers’ salaries and benefits to depend solely on decisions of elected officials feel members of the opposite party are “stupid, corrupt, wasteful, incompetent, gangsters, etc.” So, by stripping teachers’ collective bargaining rights, Wisconsin and Ohio governors will be turning over all decisions relating to teacher salaries and benefits to people who are “stupid, corrupt, wasteful, incompetent, gangsters, etc.” once their own party loses power in the future?
Government employees are NOT middle class, have nothing to do with middle class. They are part of the ruling class with power to assault people if they refuse to pay taxes.
