He’s reading the headline from DrudgeReport. The article in the VailDaily(.)com that Drudge linked to didn’t use the term “feasts,” which is obviously employed as a vicious smear by Drudge and Rush. In fact, the sub-headline was “Michelle Obama Enjoys Fresh Veggies at Restaurant Kelley Liken”, and goes on to explain that the 3-vegetable servings that were part of her meal were grown at a local school’s gardening program.
Skiing is a demanding cold-weather sport, requiring extra calorie intake.
