do you mean 2 tiger barbs and 2 tetras? I’m not sure the tiger barbs would do that well with the tetras, Tetras do best in groups of 5 or more, and tiger barbs might nip other fish in the tank, they usually do better with 3 or more as well, then they chase each other and not the other fish, but they still might chase the tetras
Should I put my tank and any particular spot in the past Ive had aquariums an put them in this one spot and they allways seem to die could it be the sunlight ? thanks
you don’t want it in direct sunlight, algae will grow faster, also try not to put it near vents or doors because they will change the water temperature of your tank
they might die, but they might not, some fish are more sensitive than others, you should watch the chemical levels in your tank, if the fish don’t die in the first day or two they still might die in the first month or so, especially if the tank hasn’t cycled yet
feng shui pebbles aren’t required, but if you have bottom feeding fish you probably should have the pebbles in there, or some other type of smooth rock because the biorb ceramic media will hurt bottom feeding fish because it is too rough
also, i have had my tank cycling for four days now, and was wondering, if i put in 4 glo-fish ( danios ), and a dwarf gourami, will ammonia poisoning kill them?
I can tell you from experience that small fish such as Minnows hunt for food in the gaps in the ceramic media and can get stuck. Pebbles can help prevent this.
hi, i just got a biorb life 30 today. i am in the process of cycling and was wondering if the feng shui pebbles were required because of fish injuring themselves on the included ceramic media, thanks!
I have a new biorb life 60 gallon, and the pump is way too noisy to house this tank in any room in the house. I’m in the process of ordering a different pump. I tried a different biube pump in the shop and it appears they are all of the same volume (too high). Has anyone else had this problem?
ok im getting a 16 gallon one of this and im wondering how much should i put of the stress coat and stress zyme and how long should i wait to put fish please respond
It’s very attractive but it would be nice to somehow hide the cords and air tube. It looks so clean and sharp but those wires and tubes detract from the clean look.

What is the size of the opening in the top of the biorb 30? It looks like about 6in square.
