To be fair. These ‘bad’ governors are matching the will of their constituents. These people ran on platforms of lowering taxes even in the middle of the recession and the voters went for it so isn’t that what democracy is about.
Provided that any sort of bill like that would have bi-partisan support which regretably it will not get any of the sort.
The cruelest part of all — if you have a sick child & have spent almost all of your money on the child & have less than $2000 in assets left, you’re eligible for MEDICAID.
But even though the Fed Govt pays 60%, Governors Brewer, Walker, & Perry wanna deny this so they can kick the most vulnerable to the street & get more money to their Corporate bribers.
Morality = Doing the right thing & caring about people!
Politicians = NO MORALITY!
BTW, Same goes for the bankers, military leaders & multinational corporations!

@09hillsdalean09 First, its not always how people get wealthy, often times its by scamming, or monopolising something even without gov help
But even then, the tax is on personal income, if they raise prices to compensate, they get taxes more on those higher profits, and we can do even more to help the people being screwed by that business
Even then, your wet dream isnt a reality because price hikes simply do not match tax adjustments, otherwise the price of things would lower with tax reduction

The talking point “HE WAS ELECTED” is pretty flimsy, as it can be used against you when next you complain about a politician you don’t like(And don’t even lie, you have done so. We’ve all done it.).
