Cyclone Front Seat on-ride POV Six Flags New England
In 1984 the two damaged PTC trains were combined to make one good train. The next year two new trains were purchased from Morgan & those were replaced with two new PTC ones for the 2000 season. Watch in high quality.

This ride was awful for me. I felt my brain shake and I almost fell down when I got off the ride. I might ride it again if someone wanted to go on with me, but I won’t go on alone.
Another classic coaster that got re-profiled right into snoresville. I actually would put the Merry-Go-Round to beat the Cyclone in a speed test. Why did they take the fun out of such a great coaster?

But… it’s nothing like it… …*general confusion*. It’s not even the same colour scheme, let alone things like ride layout, height, fabrication methods, element style. The only thing that is the same is the name. So to say it’s a replica of the one at Coney Island is slightly amiss.
agreed!!! That first drop use to kill me. I would fly right out of the chair. I went on it two ago and almost fell asleep. They did the same thing to rattler which had the best first drop for a woodie ever, now it’s a bore. Boo!!
AND it only drops halfway to the ground

I like the weird layout. This rough coaster is best experienced at night….after your 75 minute wait due to the single train.
coolio coater!
this one looks kinda fun
Been there, done that, owey,
it dosent hurt you it just shakes u
this ride kicks so much ass it feels out of control and dangerous which adds to the excitement. definitely one of the best wooden coasters out there

What’s better, the Cyclone or the Thunderbolt? Vote UP for Cyclone and Vote DOWN for Thunderbolt.
