I went through Kinglake area 2 days ago (4th Oct) and even before I reached the bushfire affected areas I could notice a strong burnt smell. This is 8 months after the fire.

Interesting thing about summer in Victoria 2008/2009, it was below average temperatures for the 3 months of summer, only 10 days over 35 and 5 days over 40.
Out of 3 months it’s been a short but hot summer, don’t believe the hype about man made climate change, there is more and more evidence the eco freaks are using disasters as an excuse to push there cause and to exstract our hard earned money out of us.
