@Forkattenda I mentioned artists that we have produced over the decades starting with the 60′s to present day hence why I mentioned the Beatles. I agree that Queen are amazing but I didn’t have time to list EVERY amazing artist/band to come out of the UK (I’d be here for hours if I attempted. We do update “update our mastery now and then”; note I did mention Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy and Coldplay as examples of recents international acts to come out of Britain…
we should send JLS next year with an R’n'B entry we would be bound to win then

@Forkattenda Interesting perspective. I’m not sure I agree. It will be interesting to see how Italy compares against the usual eurovision fodder – I think we have “Boom Boom”, “Ding Dong”, “Habba Habba” and that dreadful song from Sweden – they hardly seem to be offering the creme de la creme. Unfortunately Eurovision has become more of a visual spectacle with cheap music and cheaper lyrics and a good show than a serious music competition (last year excepted) – espec compared to S Remo & Sopot
this should be the year when the uk are on the left side of the table by the end of the night and not like no.24 on the right lol……..i like this song as not just eurovision but i actually like it

@lincsposter I think political correctness is outmoded and we are not THAT sensitive. I like the clenched hand as a sign of protest. It ties in well with the popular uprisings where youth are also saying “I Can” against dictators. So this time and this gesture is well on time if you ask me.
The song is not great but the guys are cute.
