@2damnfunny Marcus Samuelsson is the famous chef who used to head Aquavit. He was famous for more of Scandinavian fusion style with Japanese ingredients etc. Chef Jernmark brings back more traditional style of Scandinavian cuisine to Aquavit and is gaining good reviews since he took the executive chef position 1.5yr ago.
@Jojeezful Bird’s nest is made of sorbet/ice cream kind of stuff. Nest is crunchy and buttery crust, surrounded by rasberry sorbet. It was sooo yummy and delicious. It’s a new item there. If you don’t see it on the menu, please ask!!
I’d definitely prefer a good hearty, authentic meal to a pretty plate like this full of tiny bits and things, after which you can go to the McDonalds because you’re still hungry.
@PlatypusGuitar I know. lol. But I think you will be able to. It may not be an everyday meal for most, but for special occasion. It’s all good. Meanwhile, please enjoy my videos!! Thanks!
@GourmetNYC unfortunately my stupid phone decided it wants to go in and out of service therefore I wasn’t able to watch the whole video but judging from the picture that recipe looks interesting what exactly is it? I subscribed to your channel and I’d greatly appreciate it if you’d return the favor; also check out my videos, “MEGASTAR IN THE MAKIN” and “its me again”. Rate, comment, subscribe, share ect. Thanks for the invite by the way!

@FlipSnipeZ Thanks! Wireless noise ruined it a little bit for me. NYC is full of radio waves and can’t get away with it sometimes.
but why is it a simply 2 star restaurant?
@CHINNUJACK Looks good and tastes good too!
@GourmetNYC
oh, ok; i was worried there XD
@purin172003 I think they’ll soon get a Michelin star again. This is a highly established NYC fine dining spot for years now.
very nice
wow. very beautiful. I like it
Wasn’t their last executive chef also named Marcus?
I wish I could actually afford to try a dish like that
@gaudetjaja That’s funny!
